Based in Eugene & surrounding areas, what square footage would you expect to find for a new, innovative, efficiently designed custom home that was priced from $250-275k? 3 Bedrooms, 2 baths, Great room & 2-car garage?
This was my favorite custom stair detail we've done to date. A 90degree "square" edge tread out of an engineered maple. With a custom fabricated steel and cable rail handrail system. At the top is a built in water feature that can be heard from the living spaces above and below. What do you think?
These ultra slim fireplaces from Heat n Glo are about 7 inches deep. They are good for tight spaces and remodels and give a lot of design flexibility. I think we'll be seing more of these in the near future.
Hey friends...need some feedback. If we were able to build an extremely cool, modern custom home at a price point under $250k, what would be your priorities in terms of spaces? What's more important...square footage, price or location? Curious to hear back!
This was the most outside the box product I came across at the show. Still not sure what to think. Literally giant lego building blocks to construct an entire home. Just nail the sheetrock inside and the siding on the outside. Thoughts?
This is the dining room in the New American Home in Las Vegas. Really impressive home. Over the top big, but an amazing amount of detail and useable space.
Here's an X-Ray view of a home model drawn up to show the site, potential location of the site and an idea of where some of the site cutouts could be. This is an extremely valuable tool to help with site costs before you get digging. One of the many advantages to working with a design + build firm that is familiar with challenging sites.
